-
Verify that your electrospinning is producing fibers in less than a minute.
-
On-site verification.
-
Fiber verification for any electrospun material.
-
Verification holes of designated size to ensure the smallest diameter fibers can be spotted.
Material: Stainless Steel
Dimension:
Step 1
Position Fiber Verification Tool in the expected path of the electrospinning jet.
Electrically earth the Fiber Verification Tool or place it on a earthed plate.
Step 2
Electrospin for about one(1) minute
Warning! Never touch a charged spinneret with the Fiber Verification Tool.
Step 3
Switch off high voltage and visually inspect Fiber Verification Tool.
Tip. For a very thin layer of deposits, hold the tool against a brightly lit area.
Actual Illustration of fiber check
"I always do a quick check when I start electrospinning to be sure that it is producing fiber. Previously I have to collect the deposits on a glass slide and check under the optical microscope. Now I use the Fiber Verification Tool."
