Beta-Simplicity, a Singapore startup, has launched its VASAC Military prescription eyewear. Singapore has one of the highest rates of myopia in the world and many of its military personnel wears corrective eyeglasses for their training. Currently, most guys entering the army would purchase any black plastic frame for their impending enlistment. However, these plastic frames are ill-suited for the physical rigors of army training, and they often slip down the recruits' noses during their exercises. Such prevalent is this problem that enlistees wearing glasses are recommended to purchase a pair of earhooks to be installed onto their glasses.
VASAC military eyewear is designed with an anchor tip that eliminates the need of earhooks. It is made of high-performance plastic material, lightweight and engineered to be non-slip. Another stand-out aspect of VASAC military eyewear is that the rim is designed to maximize the view of the soldiers through it. Soldiers looking through the aperture or scope of their rifle will now have an unobstructed view and without the rim of the frame creeping into their view. Each frame comes with a camouflage-themed attachable case. Apart from matte-black, the standard color for enlistees, there are 4 other colors for outdoors enthusiasts who will also find this frame highly suitable for their outdoor pursuits. VASAC military eyewear currently comes in one size although more sizes are currently in the pipeline. One important note is that VASAC eyewear is not a ballistic eyewear nor a safety eyewear. It is a prescriptive eyewear designed to fit lenses of any degrees.
Every year, thousands of young men are enlisted for national service in Singapore and many of them require a pair of durable, prescriptive glasses for their training. VASAC eyewear is incorporated with various attributes such as lightweight, durable, non-slip and wide view to ensure that the performance of our soldiers is not compromised by ill-suited glasses design.
